Description
The people may be evenly divided but that does not mean the election results have to be. Strategically gerrymander the political map by redrawing the districts to transform a close race into a decisive victory. In 1812 Governor Elbridge Gerry’s Democratic-Republican Party capitalized on this strategy to win the majority in the state senate despite receiving fewer votes than the Federalist Party.
The goal of Cartocracy is to redraw the voting districts so that your party wins the most seats in the state legislature.
