Description
The year is 1602 and the bank extends you a £50 loan. In a race against time and the elements, you venture into the world of mining. Drill, dig, smelt, sell, and stay ahead of your bank loan as you strive to strike it rich. Weigh your odds carefully before excavating to maximize profits while avoiding a Cave-In!
Cave-In is a solitaire push-your-luck game about operating a mining business, which takes place over 12 turns (months) from July 1602 to June 1603. Each month you move to a new location, attempt to safely excavate ores there, then optionally sell your goods at the market. You'll need to make calculated decisions along the way and reckon with the effects of weather in pursuit of your financial goal.
Under threat of mine collapse and against a fickle market, spend your money wisely... and you just might make it back, in spades!

Want to try before you buy? I've made the original 18-card Print & Play version free at PNPArcade! In the 18-card days I had a system of overlapping 5 cards to track everything, which worked fine, but all the chipboard tiles and tokens of the full game are much more satisfying!

- This game contains a premium upgrade where the printed components will be embossed with a linen texture.
- This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
