Players take on the role of national leaders navigating crises across six interconnected categories: economic instability, civil discord, natural disasters, demographic stress, global interference, and reform.
Each turn, players roll dice to move around a color-coded board representing different societal challenges. They draw event cards that escalate or occasionally relieve unrest based on real-world scenarios — from mass protests and financial collapse to population crises and international conflicts. Cards and board spaces combine to generate unrest points tracked on each player’s sliding Unrest Meter. Accumulating too much unrest leads to national collapse and elimination.
Victory goes to the last stable nation — or to the first player to engineer a successful reform pathway, dramatically reducing unrest and achieving a peaceful political transformation.
Featuring several event cards inspired by historical and current events, combines tactical movement, political risk, and dark humor in a game that challenges players to survive the storm — or exploit it.
