Overview:

Cobblestone Road is a spice market themed card game for 1-4 players with the premise of moving spice cubes, Mancala Style, around a market (set up in a circular fashion) in order to fulfill customer contracts and gain money (as points) to count toward your victory at the end of the game.

Setting the Scene:

It is a hustle among all the spice merchants to lure just the right customers to pair with their available stock of precious spices.

*At the end of the day, the richest spice merchant is the clear winner... but there is a catch! Loyalty towards your customers is greatly rewarded! *

Cubes represent spices:

White Salt, Red Chilli, Brown Cinnamon, Yellow Ginger and Black Pepper.

Setup:

The setup varies slightly depending on player count, but below is a picture of a 4-player setup:

How to Play:

Player take turns in a clockwise fashion to perform one of the following two actions:

SPECIAL ACTIONS

Players may also perform one or more special action(s) at any time during their turn. The special actions are indicated on the customer cards in their hand. Players Perform the special action and discard the customer card from their hand onto the centre discard pile.

End of the Game and Scoring

When any player has fulfilled five or more customer cards the game end is triggered. Complete the current round, stopping play before the starting player.

1.) Players count all the money received from fulfilled customer cards. 2.) Players also score points for sets of identical customers served, the total in a set of identical customers, squared. (Note: 1 customer only does not make a set.)
