EARTH DESIGNS: UNDERWATER CREATURES CARD GAMES
Designed by the Astronaut Training Designer, Dr Iya Whiteley to improve memory, attention and reaction. Start with two traditional games, memory and snap games: COSMIC MEMORY and COSMIC SNAP, see rules below.
Total of 54 cards to play all games with a full deck of cards to develop cosmic skills and to have fun with friends and family.
There are 12 pictures of underwater creatures in four suits, black, blue, green and red, plus four aces and two cosmic babies, as trump cards.

LIST OF PLAYING CARDS GAMES:
GAME 1: *** COSMIC SNAP ***
Develops: Sharpens observation, attention and quick reactions skills
Number of Players: 2+
Age Range: 4 to 104
Aim: To win all the cards; Be the player in the end with all the cards
Each player in turn takes a card from the single pile in the centre of the table. When two consecutive cards match, any player who notices this may call “COSMIC BABY" and the first player who calls “COSMIC BABY" wins the centre pile and adds it to their own cards face down. A player who calls incorrectly must give the top card of their pile, face down, to the player of the card for which they wrongly called “COSMIC BABY" . Players who run out of cards are out of the game and the last player holding cards is the winner.
GAME 2: *** COSMIC MEMORY ***
Develops: Improves concentration and memory skills
Number of Players: 2+
Age Range: 3 to 103
Aim: To find the most number of matching pairs
Spread out all cards face down on the table between the players. Players take turns to turn over 2 cards. Allow all players time to see and memorise the card and its location. If they are not a matching pair, then the player turns them back over. If they are a matching pair, that player removes them from the table and keeps them, and then has another turn. When no cards left on the table, players count the cards they have collected. The player with the most cards is the winner.
GAME 3: *** COSMIC RACE ***
Develops: concentration and observation
Number of Players: 2 to 3
Age Range: 6 to 106
Aim: To win all cards
Deal out the cards and keep them face down. Player must not look at their cards. Simultaneously players turn over the top card in their piles and put them face-up in the centre. Whoever has turned over the higher ranking card, irrespective of the suit colour, picks up both cards and adds them to the bottom of their pile. Continue in the same way until two cards of the same value (e.g. two 3s) are turned over at the same time. This constitutes the “COSMIC RACE”. Both players then take two more cards and put one face-down on top of the card they have already placed in the middle, and one face-up. Whoever puts down the higher ranking face-up card wins all cards in the middle. The player with the most cards is the winner.
