Crop Rotation - PnP

Crop Rotation is a card game that is fully playable in hand, in which two competing players slip into the roles of vegetable gardeners who share a plot of land and who both strive to outdo each other with their harvests.

In order to achieve this, you will have to cleverly exploit the benefits of efficient companion planting as well as using crop rotation after your opponent’s season to your best advantage to grow your collection of seedlings into a luscious and verdant garden of delicious vegetables.

Crop Rotation is a competitive 2-player deck-management set-collection game in which your goal is to be the first player to achieve the winning point threshold in your Garden.

For this, it features a (to my knowledge) unique "synergy" form of interaction because you won't be able to reach a winning score from just the benefits of your own cards but will also need to make use of what your opponent's cards offer you, and vice-versa. The key to victory lies in clever management and manipulation of the order of cards in your deck to assemble the right combination of veggies at the right time.

How did that happen?

Crop Rotation started out as an entry in the 2025 In-Hand Game Design Contest on BoardGameGeek in wich it was voted Best Overall Multiplayer Game.

I am very happy to say that this final release features amazing beautiful artwork by the lovely Paula Burdiel who was absolutely invaluable to me in bringing this game to life.
