OBJECTIVE The objective in Crown Hearts is to take as few penalty points as possible.
The game ends when any player ends a hand by reaching or going over 100 points, at which point the player with the lowest score is the winner.
THE CARDS The 60-card Crown Hearts deck is made up of 5 suits (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades, and Crowns).
Cards rank from 2 (low) through 9, then Jack, Queen, King, and Ace (high). There are no 10s in Crown Hearts.
Each Heart is worth 1 penalty point, as is the 9 of Crowns. The Queen of Spades is worth 13 penalty points. All other cards have no point value.
Cards which are worth penalty points feature ‘solid’ suit symbols and the point value of the card is printed below the rank and suit. All other (non-point) cards feature ‘hollow’ suit symbols.
Includes 3 Info Cards, which should be removed from the deck before playing.
See the complete Crown Hearts Rules (available as a free download) for details.
Cards are printed with smudge-resistant UV coating.
