Dawn Chorus - Print and Play

Dawn Chorus is a lightweight roll-and-write game that can be learned or taught in five minutes, with intuitive graphic design and mechanics that are easy to understand. Every decision is meaningful as players battle for control of territory, nests and birdhouses - each offering a different advantage. All of this culminates in a game that will show you just how competitive the delightful dawn chorus can really be.

You can experience Dawn Chorus in two flavours, Woodland Melodies and Darwin's Finches. Would you like to play as a UK garden bird, battling for control of trees and birdhouses? Or would you rather play as one of Darwin's famous finches and explore the Galapagos Islands.

Dawn Chorus is a print-at-home game, meaning you will receive the files digitally. Included in your digital delivery will be:

• The full colour game sheet for both Woodland Melodies and Darwin's Finches
• Specially designed low ink game sheets
• The rules for how to play

(All available to print in A4 paper size)

To play, you will need a printed game sheet plus two standard dice, and each player will need a coloured pen or pencil.

No printer? No worries! You can still play Dawn Chorus if you don't have a printer. Get a copy printed at a local print shop or library. You could even have your copy laminated to play again and again with a dry erase pen. If you'd rather play digitally, there are some free digital white-boarding tools (Miro, draw.io, Figma) where you can upload the game sheet image, and away you go.
