Each deck of cards comes with 52 cards. The cards are organized by the color of the background along with the critter is on the front. There are four of each color and fish type. For example:

4x Red Fish 4x Green Squids 4x Gray Crab

The color is referring to the background of the card, not the critter, and then the name of the critter follows the background color.

This allows you to play plenty of games, such as Go Fish and Old Maid. Be creative! They can also be used as collectible cards, along with our packs of cards.
