This deck includes 52 oracle cards featuring a variety of images and colours to inspire your intuition. Many are based on my original photographs of florals, city scenes, shoefiti and pride parades. Others are spun from various patterns and digital effects.
None of the images include a key word or phrase- and the downloadable .pdf (see link in the right column) lists only the original file name- so as to not limit your intuition's response to each card.
Although the standard versions of the Digital Gryphon Kaleidoscope Oracle decks are square, these are oblong cards with larger diameter corners to fit the metal tin. Does artwork spun to be symmetrical and square work on this shape? That depends on how you, the card reader, react to the apparent contradiction.
While I use a photo editing programme to spin a kaleidoscope version, each finished piece is the result of human intervention to generate multiple versions. The editing programme has a number of settings that impact the resulting image. The original file is often adjusted in various ways- cropped, items added or removed, colours adjusted in hue, brightness, saturation, etc.
Only a small percentage are worth developing any further; many concepts just don’t bear fruit. Only once I'm satisfied the piece represents me is a high-resolution file created for upload.
My full Kaleidoscope and Teddy Bear Tears series of wall art at Fine Art America includes complex designs not great when reduced to 3". Please visit FAA to see the entire collection.
