Each player is a parent in a dirty divorce trying to get things for themselves while damaging their opponent. If the divorce gets too dirty then the lawyers win and both players lose!
Players start with a number of assets such as a car, money and furniture and will attempt to increase their assets while reducing the assets secured by their opponent. For example a player may make false allegations that their opponent has threatened to burn down the family home. As a result they acquire part of the home asset from their opponent. Their opponent must also pay the lawyers and transfers an asset to them. The game can be won by gaining lots of assets or by driving your opponent bankrupt.
Players also start with a number of ego boosters such as kids and personal achievements and will attempt to increase these while reducing their opponent's. For example a player may obstruct access to a child, thereby negating one of their opponent's ego boosters. The game can be won by driving your opponent into depression.
But watch out! While players battle it out the lawyers gain more and more assets for themselves and in the end they may be the only winner.
Turns are quick and consist of adding an action card to the player's hand and then playing an action card.
The video shows a sample of two players' turns.
