Description
DOMINEX tiles feature two games in one! On the Rainbow side, match spots of colour on the hexagonal dominoes to score the most points. On the Star side, match 3 stars to score. The game is simple to learn, but you can develop complex strategies... that can be thwarted by another player or the luck of the draw!
Game comes in velvet bag for portability and to save costs on this first edition.
You can play other classic Domino games with the Rainbow tiles, and even create your own games with both the Rainbow and Star sides. This is the first edition, so check back for free PDF rules for more variations on Stars (the creator is already working on a version of classic Go)!
DOMINEX was created by a language arts teacher, especially for kids as young as 5 years - with rules simple enough to be taught with no spoken language. The game helps to practice colour and shape recognition, planning and strategy, and spatial reasoning.
