Welcome to Field of Bees, the buzzing new card game that lets you experience the world of these essential pollinators. Your mission is to explore the wildflower field, collecting different flowers to lure endangered bee populations to your bee sanctuary. As the game unfolds, you'll need to employ a blend of memory and tactical decision-making to gather the right flower combinations, redeem bee cards, and use their special abilities.
Honey bees are often the first bee we think of when we hear the phrase, “Save the Bees”. However, native bees may be threatened by habitat loss, pathogens, and perhaps managed bees such as Honey Bees. (Worldwide, the use of managed bees for crop pollination and honey production has increased dramatically.) After playing this game, research these flowers and native bees. Then consider planting one of these flowers in your own garden if it supports your region’s ecosystem.

Overview: Memory with Strategy During the game, players flip and collect flower cards from a shared wildflower field. You’ll need to remember which flowers have been revealed by other players and which remain hidden, all while avoiding dangerous knapweed and building your own blooming strategy. Match or combine flower cards to collect bee cards! Once bees are collected, place them in your garden to use their special abilities or your sanctuary to save them. Each bee has its own special ability, giving you new ways to adapt your strategy and interact with other players.
Save the bees! The game ends when a player—or the group—has collected the designated number of bees for the chosen game mode.
Game modes are outlined in the Field Guide!
