The Fivedeck is a curious little deck of cards. It's made up of 55 cards spanning 5 suits. Each suit has 6 cards in it: numbers 1-5, letters J-N, and a special O card which acts as both a zero and the letter o.
The fivedeck is designed for games where you want two particular features to hold true:
The Fivedeck is designed for games where sometimes the Letters are high and sometimes the numbers are.
Each of the cards feature a set of point pips from 0-5 points. On the number cards, the points run up 0 points for the O, 1 point for the 1, all the way up to 5 points for the 5. On the letter cards, the points run down from 5 points for the J card, 4 points for the K card, all the way down to 0 points for the O card.
Why JKLMN instead of ABCDE? Because I wanted to have the O card span the gap. O looks like the letter o and it also looks like a zero, so by shifting the alphabet I can allow for both JKLMNO and 012345.
