Can you imagine being a mouse with quills? A fire-wielding komodo dragon? What about a bear that runs on water? In Food Chained!, you can be that and more!

Work your way up the food chain, from Decomposer to Omnivore, by accumulating upgrades and hunting other players. But be careful that you don't become part of the food chain yourself! Let's see who can become top Omnivore in...

FOOD CHAINED!

In Food Chained!, you start the game as a Decomposer and advance up the food chain to Herbivore, Carnivore, and finally an Omnivore, playing as a different animal for each level. At each stage, you'll eat resources, add upgrades and evolutions to your animal (like the mouse with quills!), and play Action Cards for quick boosts (or occasionally even catastrophes to devastate your opponents!). Once you reach the Carnivore and Omnivore stages, you can begin hunting your fellow players. But be careful! If you're hunted and eaten you'll revert to your previous animal, moving backwards down the food chain! The first Omnivore player to fulfill their win condition is top Omnivore and wins the game!

Food Chained! is a game of strategy and, with all the animal abilities and upgrades, every game is different. The basic game play is simple and exciting enough that beginners and younger players catch on quickly and have a blast playing! There are also enough facets that more advanced players can develop their own strategies such as refining resource management, building fields that are offensive, defensive, or balanced, and choosing whether they want to advance quickly and precariously or slowly and surely.
