Description

Welcome to the Ultimate Grid Challenge!

First compete to shape the grid by drawing lines and claiming colorful triangles. Once the grid is colored, the real adventure begins as you maneuver your meeple across the vibrant landscape you just created.

Can you master both phases and emerge victorious? The challenge awaits!

A quick, easy to learn game ideal for breaks with friends and family

How to Play

FracTiles - Part 1: Shape & Shade

Roll a D4 dice and draw a straight line along the sides of that many triangles. If your line completes the final side of a triangle, claim it and color it in. If, at some point, you cannot draw a line, simply color one of the bottom triangles. When the bottom row is fully colored, the game ends and scoring begins

Scoring: score one point per colored triangle (including the ones in the bottom row), plus additional points if you managed to color in special triangle combinations. Note that each triangle may only be part of ONE special bonus shape!

FracTiles - Part 2: Stay on Board

Once colored in, a second game begins. Use strategy and skill to navigate the board, following the color-coded paths and avoiding other players. Choose an entry point anywhere on the grid, then Roll the D4 dice. Now, move your meeple the number of sides indicated by the roll, following the edges of the triangles. There is one catch though, you can only move along edges where triangles on both sides are the same color! Will you be the Last Meeple Standing?

Note that you do not need to play the second part with the same players, you don't even need the same player count! Why not try the same colored grid with 2, 3 and 4 players?
