Fragments of Wisdom

Fragments of Wisdom is a co-operative card game set in a historical backdrop where all players work together to win. You are an Israelite scholar in 587 B.C.E., a time of great turmoil. The Babylonian armies of Nebuchadnezzar have broken through the walls of Jerusalem, burned the city, and pillaged the Temple. You, along with thousands of others, have been deported to Babylon. The people of Israel are despairing. Their capital is destroyed, they are exiled from their land, and YHWH has abandoned them, or so it seems.

But all is not lost. Among the exiles, there is a memory of a man named Jeremiah. He was a preacher in Jerusalem who prophesied this desolation, but also spoke of a future restoration. Perhaps his words can bring comfort to the exiles. You and other scholars have gathered fragments of his prophecy from parchments that survived the destruction and from those who heard him speak. With the help of the greatest sages of the time, you work to assemble the prophecy before the people lose all hope.

Fragments of Wisdom can also be played solo, featuring a deep and engaging campaign for a single player.
