I am no longer publishing this deck via the Gamecrafter, but have found a different printer and am selling from my website at HISTORICALRETROSPECTIVE.WORDPRESS.COM
This beautiful deck was created and published in the year 1660 by Francois de Poilly or someone in his family. The deck is not traditional tarot, but it does contain 22 trumps, about 3/4ths of which follow the traditional Tarot structure. The differences are similar to the 97-card Minchiate decks of Italy. Card #16 is missing from the original, and has been recreated; I've also recreated the minor pip cards to create a full reading deck. There is also a Majors and Courts edition available here, without the recreated pips.
The deck is a standard poker size, 2 1/2" by 3 1/2", and comes with a beautiful tuck box. You can also purchase this deck straight from the artist at HistoricalRetrospective.wordpress.com. What a wonderful piece of Tarot history!
Look for the Sola-Busca Tarot, Vandenborre Tarot, the Visconti Lenormand, Stralsunder's Mini Lenormand, and Urania's Mirror: Star Cards, all here on the Gamecrafter!
