You live in a world infested by giant, green, deadly monsters known as Ghouls!

These creatures rise from puddles of the mysterious, gooey substance known as Malectoplasm and will kill any living thing within their reach unless they’re destroyed by the strange purple liquid called Ghoo. When a Ghoul is destroyed, it bursts into thousands of fragments of green, rubbery slime. The world calls this Ghoulash.

In the game you will assume the identity of one of the world’s top Ghoul Hunters. Your task is to journey through the obstacle-filled landscape, Ghoo gun in hand, hunting and destroying the Ghouls before they kill more innocent humans! (When it’s not your turn, you will act as the danger that threatens your opponents!)

Each character has specialties, based on their expertise, background and personality that set them apart and give them an edge over the others:

Professor David Lake is the reckless, devil-may-care ex- pert on Ghouls and Malectoplasm who often finds his way out of tough fixes by sheer good luck.

Doctor Pamela Gray, creator of the Ghoul-destroying substance Ghoo, has a rational, scientific mind, but has all the knowledge and skills to fight her way out of a tough situation.

Cornealius is the professional Ghoul-hunter, tough and street-wise, and his skill sets tend to give him the edge over other humans in the battle against the Ghoul threat.

General J.H. Zone is the commander of the Aberration Deterrent and Eradication Forces, or ADEF. His military skill set and discipline, not to mention his high rank, give him special privilege and training that help in the battle.

The first player to 10 Victory Points wins. Take too many wounds from the Ghouls, however, and you're dead. Make sure you keep your First-Aid Kits handy.

Battles are won with the use of Value cards; you attempt to outmatch the Ghoul's strength with your own. Beware, however: Your opponents can challenge you in your battles and throw obstacles in your path!
