All politics is local. It’s as true now as it was 200 years ago. To get to the top, you need to start at the bottom. You need to start at the grass roots.
Grass Roots is a board game for 2 to 4 candidates. Each candidate will try to get in on the ground floor of the political ladder running for a House seat representing their district at the state capitol. To get that honor, you need to get elected.
Players will get a set of Action Points to use to run their campaigns. You’ll be able to fundraise, recruit volunteers to your campaign, build a platform, talk to you neighbors to try to get their support and try to navigate the daily news cycle. All campaign information including how you use your Action Points, who you get to volunteer, how much you collect in donations and what you include in your platform is hidden information. If you can get the most people to the polls, you’ll be able to walk away a winner.
