Grazers & Hunters

Two players each own half of the meadow, where elk graze, grass grows and wolves hunt. Try to gain the most elk and grass in your half through strategic grazing and hunting. Take turns strategically choosing grass patches that elk eat, and the elk that wolves eat. Wolves and elk reproduce after eating. Be careful because having many elk can result in too many brown patches to support elk. Grass needs time to regrow.You can direct elk to eat your opponent’s grass. You can have wolves hunt elk in your opponent's land. But be careful because wolves, by preventing elk from overpopulating, could help your opponent's ecosystem. Win by having the most elk and grass in your half of the meadow after four rounds.
