This set of Arcanas and Oracles feature heavy use of typography and other graphic design elements not typically seen in Tarot artwork. If you're tired of the same old Tarot everywhere, the unique symbology and archetypes presented by Biblical figures and events adds interesting interpretation possibilities to your readings.

What is the Difference between a Tarot and an Oracle?

A Tarot deck has centuries of defined tradition and meanings, and is almost always the same 78 Card deck. Oracles on the otherhand, are eclectic original divinatory cards that has no set traditional meanings or cards. Many artists create their own Oracles for use with divination, gaming, and more.

What is meant by Majors Only?

A Majors only Tarot Deck is not a full Tarot, but only contains the 22 Major Arcana (arguably the most important cards). Many artists create Majors only Tarot decks because they're not as prohibitvely expensive and time consuming as designing a full Tarot set.

What was the design process like?

The majority of the artwork are digital collages. Taking various public domain stock footages and making liberal use of the lasso tool and layering to create interesting effects. This is especially necessary for the various typographic effects, which Justonky consider to be the essential feature of this set of designs. The 2 bonus art oracles included are Justonky's drawings, not collage work.

Are these foil, they look like they're foil.

They're NOT foil. We're working on potential holofoil or other special effect sets, but whether they can be produced in the manner we desire is unknown at this time.

I thought Satan was a divine agent of God in the Old Testament and that Lucifer was a figure of speech not referring to Satan. Why did the Devil Arcana show Satan as a falling angel and the quoted passage called him Lucifer?

Many of these artwork were originally made for a card game contest that Justonky ultimately decided to ditch, and the artwork was upcycled into this majestic tarot deck instead. However, Justonky wasn't as well informed of religion back then, so we had to commit to the "fallen angel" archetype for Satan, rather than a Divine Attorney and Accuser. We made it work. Fortunately, this is the only one that suffers from this kind of "latter" interpretation of a Biblical figure.
