Description
Early in the 1900s, right after most of the world had turned Industrial, and the products in which they produced were now spread far and wide, so that all tasted of their fruit, even to the remote villages. Soon after this, people started getting sick with all sorts of illnesses that no one even knew existed under heaven. People started to fall dead in the middle of their jobs grabbing their hearts and screaming, as with no breath. Other people suffered in other ways, some people could not breath anymore, and the ones who made it, started to have frequent outbreaks of severe attacks in which some of them would also die. The old people started complaining of every ache and pain under the heavens, grew bitter and were dying like flies to the hot sun. The people’s senses started to weaken as well, sight was growing worse, hearing was being dulled or muffled, taste and smell were almost all gone, and the sense of feeling got ever more sensitive. Amongst all these horrible fears there stood a lone army of men who set to restore balance to men and the earth. These men held the knowledge of plants and their uses as God’s servants to the people. With this knowledge they were able to Detox and Cure almost every ailment that came their way. These men where known as Eclectic Doctors. The Eclectic Doctors took their knowledge into all the world teaching and healing. But they were not alone against these powers of evil set to destroy all of God’s creation, they were accompanied by the best and brightest. These men where known as the Apprentices! These were students of the doctor, working alongside him so they could pass the knowledge on to the next generation. These were the right hands of the Eclectic Doctors, going into all the world gathering and collecting herbs of every kind to bring back to these Doctors so they could treat the people. These men where skilled not only in knowledge, but harvest times, location, seasons of herbs, and how to preserve them for the long trip back home.

Herbal Qwest is based off real plants and their medical uses according to the German Commission E Program (GCE) and their Monographs showing the effectiveness and safety of approved herbs. All the plants, oils, and extracts used in the game have been approved by GCE as safe. The GCE Program is the German version of the American Food and Drug Agency "FDA”. This is not stating that GCE has anything to do with this game, just that I used their standards of medicine as my standards to make this game. All numbers on cards are my doing, and relate to the effectiveness of the plants based on my calculations of GCE findings of approved treatments and effectiveness. All diseases, ailments, illnesses, sicknesses and injury’s in the game are based off real life problems. The diseases are based on the most common problems that a family or village doctor might run into on a day to day basis.
I created this game hoping that I would help someone somewhere learn more about God’s plants and their healing power they all hold inside. The game’s design, layout, and artwork were all done by me. All artwork was done by hand with color pencils, and then scanned into the computer. If there are any mistakes made, miscalculations, bad artwork, or design; sorry that’s my fault.
About the game's creator,
Hi, my name is Levi Roberson, I’m a 30 year old man. I was born and raised in Washington State. I have spent most of my life working and playing outdoors among the evergreen forest. Both my dad and grandfather have taught me gardening since I was a child living in the rural forested area of north eastern Washington; a beautiful temperate rainforest where everything grows big, green and beautiful all year round. I have been interested in herbs and plants since a young boy, always adventuring into the woods and prairies to find new and interesting plants, noticing even the small flowers and herbs that are mostly trampled underfoot. I got interested in the medicinal effects of all the herbs later in life, when everyday ailments started to affect me. I enjoyed herbs even more when I discovered that each had a purpose and use as medicine. I started to do research into all the native herbs and their uses to help humans and animals. I have had great advantages knowing and using herbs for my day to day issues, from sleeping, to acid reflux, and all other ailments that are normal for any man to encounter who lives long enough. I have now been studying and using herbs for over ten years. I started to realize that not everyone knew the beauty right in their back yard. I started to preach herbs and their medical advantages to all my friends and family. Being a born again Christian, I also noticed all The Bible has to say on herbs for the healing of people and animals. With all this in mind I decided to make a flash card style game that would teach people all the benefits herbs can do for man. I used Germans commission E program as my bases for this game, so all herbs would be related to actual uses and not just myth and legends. I also used photographs of the actual herbs instead of hand drawn pictures so people would learn what they look like in the wild. This game took me two years to make, doing everything myself, from all calculations, to layout, box design, web design, art work and everything. I’m very satisfied with the end result and am happy to announce that it is finally up for sale. Hope you like the game and learn about the healing herbs from all around the world, so that you too can see the beauty and get the benefits just as I have. I will be making changes and updates to this game for years to come as an ongoing creation. Please let me know of any mistakes that you happen to find so I can correct them! :) And tell me of all the benefits this game has given you and your family... :)
