Welcome to the world of Illuria, a land of crumbling castles and squabling nobles awash in the force known as the Primal Torrent. This force gathers in dark recesses and deep valleys of Illuria and gives rise to the monsters that roam the land. The Primal Torrent also promotes entropy and dischord where it flows strongest, making it hard for those who contest it to band together. Will your team of wayfarers stick together and fight your way to victory, or will you succumb and be devoured by the Primal Torrent?

In Heroes and Monsters you and your friends play as a team of adventuring heroes, or as the nefarious Monster Master! You'll need your wits about you to choose the best skills for the job, prepare with the proper equipment and coordinate a daring offense! The pawns of the Monster Master await you either way!
