Interns

Ways to Play:

In this fast-paced game, you and your friends take on the roles of corporate interns. There are two ways to play:

1) Everyone fights for the honor of being the laziest employee by avoiding all labor by giving your work to the other players.

2) All players compete for "Employee of the Year" by accomplishing the most tasks at the office in a single business day.

Whether the game is played as a group of lazy or as overachieving interns changes the tactics needed to win. Games are quick (5-10 minute rounds) and easy to get started. Gather your friends and family and see how well you do in the corporate world of interns!

Terminology:

HAND: The cards you are holding

DESK: Cards placed face up in front of each player. Cards on the desk are stacked on top of each other and should not be placed side by side.

Setup:

Deal each player two (2) cards and place the remainder as a stack in the center of the table.

Gameplay:

On your turn, draw a card from the center stack and then play a card from your hand either to the top of your desk pile or another player's desk pile. Any "Receiving Player" actions printed on a card will only happen when receiving the card from a player's hand and not when moved desk to desk.

How it Ends:

The game of Interns ends when all players have exhausted the cards in their hands.

Scoring:

Add up the numbers on all the cards in your desk pile and account for any adjustments that may be printed on the cards.

If the group is competing for the LAZIEST intern position, the player with the lowest score wins.

If the group is competing for the Employee of the Year title, the player with the highest score wins.
