Overview: inVENNtive is a cooperative word game for 2-8 people (but you can always play with more, a party is a party!). Guide your fellow players to identify your key words by placing Adjective cards into the Venn diagram. Score points when you reveal matching words, and get bonus points for matching the inVENNtor!

Objective: Correctly identify key words from the inVENNtor – match a word and win 2 points. Didn’t match the inVENNtor? Don’t fret - you can still score a point if you match words with another player!

How to Play:

1. The inVENNtor places Adjective cards in the Venn diagram, using any area she chooses, creating 1-3 words each turn.

2. Any card not used is placed in the Grey circle.

3. For each circle the innVENNtor is using, she may place a pawn on an icon to indicate what type of word she is thinking of (Person, Place, or Thing).

4. Once the Adjectives cards and pawns are placed, everyone, including the inVENNtor, secretly writes their words down on the Guess cards.

One circle at a time, everyone should reveal their guesses! The goal is to match the inVENNtor; as long as at least one person does that, you score 2 points! If no one matches the inVENNtor, your team can score 1 point if at least two people match each other. If not, it's one point against your whole team!
