Linking Letters

GAMEPLAY

Set up by dealing 7 cards to each player and placing a card in the centre

Any player can play a card at any time

Play a card by placing it in the centre and saying a word that:

• Starts with the letter on the card in the centre
• Ends with the letter on the card being played
• Has word length specified on the card being played

After a card is played, remove the two cards in the centre and place a new card from the deck there

The first player to play all their cards wins!

ADDITIONAL RULES

• At any time, players may discard a card to draw two new cards
• If a player makes a mistake playing a card, they must discard the card they attempted to play and draw two new cards
• If all players cannot play a card, players can collectively agree to draw a new card for the centre

5+ PLAYER VARIANT

For 5 or more players:

• Instead of removing played cards from the centre, the last played card becomes the new centre card
• The player who last played a card must wait for another player to play card before they can play again
