In LYGIT, players roll dice to build a corrupt underworld empire—while preparing to survive the moment they commit to go legit.
Each round, players secretly allocate dice to generate Ice and pressure rivals through hits, vendettas, political attacks, and heists. These actions invite retaliation from other players and draw law authority attention and heat. When plans are revealed, outcomes lock in, shaping power, exposure, and future vulnerability. Dice represent authority, protection, and leverage—and every roll deepens your footprint in the underworld.
Winning requires a decisive change of focus. Players must begin withdrawing dice from the underworld economy and committing dice to a roll-free race to go legit. Dice committed to this race no longer generate profit or influence, and shifting them away from the underworld reduces your capacity to withstand retaliation, disruption, and collapse.
Commit too early or too boldly to going legit, and rivals may seize the opening to take you down. Commit too late or too cautiously, and another rival may go legit first. Every decision unfolds under the watchful eye of the Authority, whose enforcement actions can end any player's underworld empire.
You win Lygit by escaping its underworld—not by ruling it.
