Mad Pie

Rise and shine, it’s time to hit the farmer’s market!

In MAD PIE, each player is a competing pie-maker vying for fresh produce at the market. The goal of the game is to collect enough fruits to make the filling for ten pies. In order to complete one pie, a player needs to collect four like fruits. The first pie-maker to complete ten pies wins the game.

It's fast-paced and easy to learn! Can you make MAD PIE before your friends do?

Game components:

Produce cards – There are five fruits players can buy from the market. Each card will have a picture of the fruit and its name.

Duo cards – Some cards will include two fruits instead of one. These wild cards can be played as either fruit displayed on it.

Pies – When a player has collected four cards of the same fruit, they flip over one of those cards to reveal a pie. This represents one completed pie. The remaining three cards are placed in a discard pile.

Caterpillars – Among the produce cards are a number of caterpillar cards, each with a picture of a caterpillar. Players do not want to come across many of these cards because they can spoil the produce and the round.

NOTE: If the game catches on, I'd like to create an expansion with even more kinds of pies and other ways to make the game interesting. Suggestions welcome!
