Monster Melee - The Monster Mashing Card Game

Monster Melee is a simple game. There's no epic story. No plot twists. There are no heroes. No dice or gameboard needed. It's quick to learn and can be played anywhere, anytime you have 15-30 minutes to waste. All you need is a flat surface and 2-4 players.

The object of the game is easy: have a higher Power Level than your opponent to win the Gold you bet that round. Earn enough Gold, and you win the game.

In the game you'll encounter two types of cards:

MONSTER CARDS - Monster cards can be used to fight in a Melee. or used in a bet to win their gold value.

FIX CARDS - Fix cards are used to secretly modify the current Melee in some way.

Strategies in this game are similar to a game like poker. Once you're dealt your hand, you have to evaluate the cards you have to work with. Do I have good cards? How good? How likely am I to beat whatever I have to fight? What order should I bet my cards in? Should I bet conservatively, or go all in? If my cards aren't any good, how do I cut my losses? The answers to these questions will help you play more effectively and ultimately let you win more.
