you must explore, craft, and survive long enough to escape. Every decision matters, every resource is vital, and the island never sleeps. Will you work together—or leave others behind? Mysterious Island: The Card Game is a tense, cooperative or competitive survival adventure for 1-6 players.

Player Turns & Actions
The game progresses through a series of phases: Day Phase, Player Phase, Night Phase, Player Phase. The Day and Night decks act as a timer. When these decks run out the island explodes in a volcanic eruption.
One at a time, each player takes 2 actions during their turn. The 5 available actions are:
| Craft | Explore | Rest | Move | Campfire |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Draw a Craft card | Draw and resolve an Explore card | Heal 1 Health | Move to next island location | Trade cards |
Escape Objectives Escape Objectives, which are drawn and start of the game, lists the required Craft cards in order to build each objective. Building an Escape Objective is done at the last Island Location...unless you discover secrets on the island! In competitive mode, these escape objectives should be kept secret!
DANGEROUS cards DANGEROUS cards represent growing danger for you or your group and become part of a pool of cards that can have serious negative effects if they grow too many. DANGEROUS cards are kept with the player that drew the card, but are kept in a separate pool and do not count toward that players hand limit.
End-Game Scenario Before players attempt to build their Escape Objective, check the number of DANGEROUS cards in the pool. (Cooperative and Competitive!)
