The National Broadcasting System is in dire straights for this season. They’ve got an entire schedule that’s totally empty. No shows, no demographics, and that means no money. You are all executives and creating shows is as easy as finding gimmicks to already-crafted genres and tying that into a demographic. Just like the CW.
How do you make a TV show? The same way that real TV executives do: find a TV show genre like Musical Reality, Science Fiction or Tabloid Show; give it a cool gimmick, like Nerdy, Blue Collar or Synergy; then link it to a demographic and put it on the schedule! Just be warned, there's lots of cutthroat competition and everyone will do their best to throw Wrenches in your plans, like cancelling shows or relegating them to the profit-free realm of the Internet. The winner is the executive who makes the shows with the most points. The losers are destined to work in public television.
This satirical game takes a very light-hearted and irreverent view of the television industry. Pitch Machine is great for imaginative groups of people who can imagine the over 5,000 TV shows that can be created playing Pitch Machine! And who knows: you might make the next Survivor!
So, those action shots show some really slick glass gems. Well, to keep the price down, I've since traded those for some slick plastic tokens. If you'd like the Super Deeluxe Version™, go ahead and add 6 red, blue, green and purple glass gems to your order as well. They feel great.
