Description
This educational game will reinforce Spanish vocabulary, encourage students to be active learners, and will bring peels of laughter to your classroom!
Platillos Voladores is Spanish for "flying saucers" and the game gets its name from the plates that are passed from one player to the other every round.
The idea is to be the first person who gets rid of all the cards in their hand by playing them into the proper categories on the plates as they go around. And an OVNI (UFO wild card) can change game play suddenly.

* At a one center when your learners are doing a circuit
* Spanish club
* Spanish game day
* Snow day or half day (when half the class stays at home)
Expansion Packs are available - including blank cards (to make your own matching cards), other vocabulary categories, and grammar categories.
Note: You will need one paper plate for each student playing the game. The plates are not included, so you will need to provide your own.
