Rocket Science is a realistic game based on the real world aerospace industry. In this game you must work together as engineers, scientists, analysts, and more to gather resources, increase character attributes, manufacture and test rocket components, and build a booster for the space administration deadline.
Rocket Science will test your ability to make decisions and create synergies with your teammates to optimize resource collection, perform actions, and ultimately assemble the final rocket all while the game plays against you using realistic event cards.
Accomplish your tasks and prove to the world that you have what it takes to be a rocket scientist!

Each player selects a player mat and the matching colored rocket-workers from the 6 available characters that are provided. Each player has a unique ability that can be used throughout the game and an attribute tracker that will fluctuate as the game is played. Beware of event cards that reduce your attributes and send your worker to various locations to increase your attributes. A high attribute total allows for the purchase of game changing action cards. Max out an attribute to take advantage of Efficiency bonuses!
The game is played in a sequence of rounds that each begin by revealing an Event card from the provided Event deck. This is how the game plays against you. Face realistic events that impact your attributes and change how each round is played. When a "ANOTHER DAY PASSES" card is revealed, move a counter from Monday to Tuesday on the callendar track and unlock an additional space in the warehouse. The game must be completed before the end of the week: blast off day!
After revealing the event card, take turns strategically placing a rocket-worker to perform various actions! Only one worker is allowed on a space at a time, so be tactical in your placement! A list of all available worker spaces and their corresponding action is shown below:

Collect resources throughout the game to build the different required major components. You must build a rocket from the ground up by collecting cards for 1 nozzle (blue), 2 segments (red), and a nose (green). Component cards are stored in the warehouse deck and in the warehouse. When cards are gained, the resources required are paid from the resource pool and the card is moved to the assembly line (dont forget to restock the warehouse from the warehouse deck) until a set of 3 is gathered.
Once a set of 3 colored cards is prepared, the major component must be analyzed before it can be complete (however, analysis can be done in advance). Place workers and pay the resource cost at any of the available analysis locations to progress the token along the analysis track. Once the required value is achieved, the set of 3 colored minor components can be combined (and discarded from play) and a gear token may be placed on the designated space above the analysis track. Complete all 4 major components (built and analyzed) to build the final rocket.
The 3D Rocket is not included in the base game. Use the link at the bottom of the shop page to download .stl files to print your own.
Use action cards to better your odds at building the rocket before the deadline. Action cards are gained from the warehouse by meeting attribute requirements. Each action card shows a colored circle and a number to depict its value. On your attribute tracker, Intellect is represented as yellow, Creativity is orange, Confidence is green, and Experience is purple. Based on different totals from your attribute tracker, each player may or may not be able to gain certain actions. Keep your attributes high to take advantage of these action cards and turn the tides at critical moments in the game!
Change how the game is played by adjusting the difficulty level, adding a challenging subtask, or by including one of several included expansion items (secret projects) to the game.
