Rooster Roundup

Summary: Rooster Roundup is a dexterity game about children in the wild west trying to lasso and tie up roosters in their own backyard rodeo. The rules of the contest are simple: lasso a rooster (throw your rubber band so that it completely encircles a rooster) and tie it up (wrap the rubber band around the rooster so that it stays tied without your holding it). The first person to catch all their roosters wins! Yeehaw!

Story: Y’all are kids growing up in the wild west. More than anything, it’s your dream to compete in the rodeo. Y’all reckon that one day you’ll charge into that ol’ dusty ring on top of your best horse, twirl your rope over your head, lasso a calf just like that, and tie it up in record time. You can hear the crowd hollerin’ your name now. The grownups won’t letcha ride in the show yet, though.
“The calf you’d be chasin is bigger’n you are!” they joke. “You’re too young, partner,” they say. "In a few years." Well, that's a bunch of hogwash, and you sure ain't gonna wait around letting your throwing arm get rusty. Y’all figure you’ll just have to have your own rodeo to settle who’s got the best lasso in town, and if a cow's too big, those roosters over yonder will have to do!
