The five spirit realms once moved in harmony.
Fire, River, Sky, Shadow and Forest were bound together by the Rite—an ancient cycle that kept their powers in balance. But beneath a darkened sun, that cycle has shattered. The spirits now clash to decide which realm will shape the age that follows.
Every card played alters the flow of the Rite. Every returning pattern awakens forgotten power. To survive the eclipse, you must read the battle, disrupt your rivals and choose the right moment to unleash your strongest spirits.
Only one spirit will remain.
RYN: Rite Spirits is a fast tactical card game, combining simple play rules with timing, hand management and direct interaction.
Players summon Fighters and Beasts, cast Spells and prepare Traps while trying to reduce their rivals’ life to zero. However, cards cannot simply be played whenever you want. Each card changes which cards may follow, so every move affects not only your own strategy but also the options available to the next player.
The result is a constantly shifting battle in which attacking is important—but controlling the flow of cards can be even more powerful.

At the beginning of your turn, draw one card from the shared deck.
You may then play one card, but its color and type must both be different from the card played immediately before it.
For example, after a red Fighter, you cannot play another red card or another Fighter. You must find a card with both a new color and a new type.
After playing a card, resolve its immediate effect. Depending on the card, you might deal damage, gain protection, recover life, draw cards or interfere with another player’s hand.
Your choice also determines what the next player is allowed to play. A strong attack may help you immediately, while a carefully chosen color and type may leave your rival with very few legal options.
The central mechanic of the game is the Rite.
When your card matches the color of the card played two turns earlier, you complete an A–B–A sequence and trigger the card’s additional Rite effect.
This means you are always watching more than just the top card. You must remember what came before it, predict what your opponents may play and look for opportunities to return to an earlier combination.
A Rite can turn a normal card into a much stronger move—dealing additional damage, stealing a card, breaking protection, disrupting an opponent or shifting the entire direction of play.
Sometimes you will complete a Rite yourself. At other times, you may deliberately create an opening that you hope survives until your next turn.
The five spirit realms give the deck a wide range of effects, but no player controls only one realm. Everyone draws from the same deck and must adapt to the cards in their hand.
Legendary cards are rare, powerful and always playable, allowing them to break the normal flow of the game at crucial moments.
A player who cannot play a legal card after drawing leaves an opening for their rival.
The previously played card triggers its Last Hit effect, creating an additional consequence such as damage, disruption or another tactical advantage. The blocked player’s turn then ends.
Because of this, playing a card that restricts the next player can be just as valuable as dealing direct damage.
When the first player is eliminated, the Final Eclipse begins.
Healing is no longer possible. Defensive options become weaker. The remaining players are pushed into a faster and more dangerous endgame where delaying is no longer enough.
Every Rite becomes more important, every Legendary card can decide the battle and every mistake may be final.
Read the flow. Shape the Rite. Outlast your rivals.
