Description

You are a small group of adventurers in search of the "Scepter of the eternal Flame", the most valuable object of your journeys of discovery. Standing in the long-awaited entrance to the Cave of Ignis, you realize that this adventure will be more dangerous than all previous ones. The cave is about to explore and it is only a matter of time before the lava flows scorch everything inside it forever. In this cooperative push-your-luck and pattern-building dice-rolling game you try to reach the Scepter of the Eternal Flame and return alive with it before time runs out.

How to win

To win reach the exit with the Scepter before the cave explodes. If the cave explodes while you are still inside, you lose. If the cave explodes sametime you leave, the game ends in a tie because you saved your life but lost the Scepter.

Game Play

At the beginning of each round you roll the dice. Then you must decide either to equip yourself by using the dice's abilities, that cleverly combined become even stronger, or head out before the cave explodes and burns everything. Use each character's individual skills you gain to improve yourself!

Game Turn "Use Dice"

The goal of this turn is to equip yourself.

  • Use the easy to understand dice reference, which helps and challenges you to make the right decisions, how to use the dice, especially to combine to power their function up.
  • Roll the dice along the numbers and use it topdown.
  • Activate your individual skills and special abilities and use it anytime during your turn.

Game Turn "Move"

The goal of this turn is to move your team figure. You can move without (on the way to) or with the scepter (on the way back).

  • Check your move distance, because the slowest character defines the number of fields.
  • Check your team force, because you need 2 per player, so that you don't get the gap as a penalty on your move distance.
  • Move your team figure and on your way back carry the Scepter.

General Rules

  • You can always divide all dice values among the characters.
  • The die values are each halved (rounded up), except for the exploding time die, which has its own rating.
  • Actived skills and special abilities can be used anytime during the turns and it is completely consumed after use. As you activated the special abilities, you can choose one of the six abilities to use it once in the game, actived skills can use one per turn.
  • Force and Move are active with the value the cube is currently placed on.
  • The exploding time die is executed in both turns (unless you disharm it).
  • Each wayfield is a step (between the arrows). The flame throne field at the center, as well as the exit field on your return, does not have to be reached with exact value.
