Raise The Shield Wall!

Shield Wall: The Raid is a two player tabletop skirmish wargame set during the Viking raids on England during the early middle ages. Players take the role of either the attacking Viking forces, or the defending Anglo-Saxon forces.

Players create the battlefield using building and ship terrain 3D standups. Once the terrain is setup, each player selects the units they wish to take to battle. There are 4 unique squad types for each side, each based on units from history.

Players take turns moving and attacking with their squads of units to out maneuver their opponent. Make sure you pick your battles, or your troops might rout and run away!

If the Anglo-Saxons are able to repel the attacks and defend their down by defeating at least half of the Viking troops you are victorious! But if the Vikings are able to take most of the towns treasures before you are able to stop them then they are the victor!

Shield Wall: The Raid is an entry level table top wargame meant to simplify the genre to a more manageable level. Most wargames require hours to play and have complex rules, this game is built to streamline the gameplay while not losing the depth of strategy that these types of games create.
