Description
Short Changed is a deduction game with moving targets and a strong memory element. Observe transactions players make with a central pot to deduce the total value of winks held by any other player. Be shrewd! Guessing incorrectly helps other players with more information.
On your turn, take an action from among the following:
- Guess any opponent's total value of winks to win the game.
- Short change the pot.
- Depending upon how many winks you hold, donate or steal one wink.
Pass only if there are no other possible actions. All of these actions give some information about your winks to your opponents, so choose carefully!
Everything you need to play Short Changed fits in a tiny drawstring bag, and the only surface needed is a small area for the common pot. With all other pieces held in players' hands or left in the bag, Short Changed is ideal for playing while traveling, camping, or eating. Why not carry a copy everywhere?
