SKEETINGS

The SKEETINGS board game is the excitement of skeet shooting without the need of protective gear or the surprise of any loud noises. Well, unless you really want to shout "PULL!" and "BANG!" This game is as true to the real feel of being at the firing range as possible...without actually being there. You roll dice to simulate the throws from the high and low houses and roll firing dice to hit the clay pigeons to score victory points. This game is also about cooperation as each player does have the best interest of the other in getting a high score, so put on your hearing protection, eye protection, and shell pouch or vest...only if you want to, and enjoy either the basic cooperative game or a solo advent.

About the Game

You play the SKEETINGS board game with a shotgun token placed on your play board and pick the red and yellow die. Your opponent takes two of the red and yellow skeet cards and chooses which ones to play on to your board. They also take the black and white dice, and once rolled places them on to your board in the appropriate spaces. You then roll your dice and hope to meet or exceed the roll of your opponent, which will indicate a hit. You flip over the corresponding skeet card and add it to your victory pile for that station. Some firing line stations have 4 clays to hit and others only have 2. If you hit every skeet, as you progress around the field you will receive a bonus pigeon at station 8 to increase your score. Some stations have adjustments to your dice rolls (station 4 subtracts 1 and station 8 adds 1). Your opponent wants you to play well also, as they will receive a tip from you on how well you scored at the stations. Your roles change after every station and now your opponent gets to shoot some skeets. Record your scores on the scoring pad along with your tips and see who had a good day at the range.

Solo play is also available and follows the same game rules, with the exception that you have to do everything. Kinda' like sledding down the hill and having to walk back up again.
