Hoaxite is all the rage right now across the galaxy. So far, 4 varieties have been discovered but nobody is entirely sure what it’s even good for.

Some say a small spoonful of it lets you glimpse into the future, others claim it works wonders to prevent tooth decay. Or maybe it’s just crystallised space ogre snot?

Whatever it is, a thriving black market for the stuff has developed in the Scumpit Nebula and you are here to get in on the action.

Jump across the orbital space stations to acquire these crystals and manipulate their value in your favour (or against your opponents’) to head off with the most precious load of cargo and become the most renowned Smugglonaut.

Explain it to me like I'm a boardgame nerd

Smugglonauts is a time-track commodity speculation game for 2-4 shrewd space smugglers who compete for the largest profit on the intergalactic black market.

The full rules as well as the board are all printed directly on the inside of the box for a tiny footprint, makng it an ideal game to bring to the pub or a camping trip.

The game is simple to learn and quick to play and a session can be played over multiple games for even more cutthroat fun.

How did that happen?

Smugglonauts started out as an entry in the 2024 1-Card Print and Play Design Contest on BoardGameGeek.

I am very happy to say that this final release was brought to life with the help of Yela Gatchalian-David as well as NASA for a fun new setting and colourful artwork.
