Fresh snow has covered the yard, and everyone has new toys to show off... it's time to pick teams and have a snowball fight!
In this team battle game, cards are played simultaneously. You begin with three kinds of basic card in your hand: Duck behind your fort to stay safe, dash out in the open to Scoop and get more snowballs, or throw a Snowball at an opponent - if they played a Scoop, then you hit them and win the fight!
It's intuitive and easy to learn, but the difficulty of choosing when to act keeps it exciting. Try to outsmart your opponent by predicting what they will play, or just trust your gut and go for it.
The excitement builds as you fight over Toys to upgrade with - these replace one of your basic cards to improve your odds in the next fight. Will you get the extra-accurate Slingshot? Maybe a Catcher's Mitt so you can try to catch your opponents' snowballs to throw back at them? Or use a Shovel to scoop snow extra quickly? With 34 unique Toy cards, no two games are ever the same!
After gearing up with the Toys you managed to claim, you and your allies will face off against the other team in the Final Brawl; an all out, last-team-standing, battle for wintry dominance.
Most modern board games are either cooperative or free-for-all, while team-based games are often simple party games or guessing games. Snow Brawl combines both, bringing the excitement of chearing for your allies and trash talking opponents to your board game night. It's a quick and exciting experience that can be tought and played in 30 minutes... assuming your opponents don't demand a rematch!
Snow Brawl is best as a team game with four or more players, but can be played free-for-all with two or three.
