A solar car racing game based on the World Solar Challenge

This game is intended to support educational activities based on solar car racing, and to provide a tiny bit of the flavour of the real sport. It is inspired by the World Solar Challenge (WSC). Founded in 1987, the WSC is a race for solar cars across Australia, covering more than 3,000 kilometres.

The objective of the game is to be the first to reach the finish line in Adelaide. The distance travelled each turn is based on a custom deck of cards, which are illustrated with photographs of central Australia and of the WSC.

  • This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
  • This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
