"Sons of the Gods" is a strategic card game set in Ancient Egypt, where gods, mythical creatures, and arcane forces clash for dominance. Command divine powers, deploy tactical spells, and summon legendary beasts in a battle of wits and will.
⚔️ 1v1 Competitive Duels

12 Basic Slots (3x4 Grid): Players can freely place normal cards here. Deity and strategy cards cannot be played in these slots.
If a player aligns 4 cards horizontally from the same faction: → The combined ATK and DEF of those cards are doubled. → The effect lasts until the alignment is broken (by destruction, removal, etc.).

Equipment Placement Rule:
Equipment cards can only be played on military units.
They are placed perpendicularly, forming a cross in the same slot.
They do not consume an additional slot.
Cannot be played without a valid military card underneath.
4 Corner Slots: Reserved exclusively for deity cards (Elemental, Greater Deity, Deity, Lesser Deity). Maximum of 4 active deities per player. Other card types are not allowed in these slots.
4 Strategy Card Slots:
Can´t be used on deity or legendary cards







Cemetery Slot: Holds destroyed or removed cards.
Deck Slot: Holds the player’s remaining deck.
Initial Deck: Minimum of 50 cards per player.
Game Start: Shuffle and draw the top 20 cards from your deck.
Card Selection per Round:
Round 1: Choose 10 cards from the 20.
Round 2: Choose 5 additional cards.
Round 3: Choose 2 more cards.
Tiebreaker Round: If both players win one round and the third ends in a draw:
Use the 3 leftover cards.
Play them face-up. The player with the highest total ATK wins.
If a player has fewer than 3 leftover cards, they draw from the top of their deck until they have 3.
Each player has two markers:
HP (Life Points): Starts at 300
ATK (Accumulated Attack): Starts at 0
Combat Resolution: If a card is destroyed, its DEF value is subtracted from the opponent's HP.
Winning a Round: A player wins the round if they have more ATK than their opponent at the end.
Winning the Game:
Win 2 out of 3 rounds, or reduce the opponent's HP to 0 in any round, or win the tiebreaker with the highest ATK.
A player may choose to pass their turn if they:
Don’t want to reveal more cards, or prefer to save cards for later rounds (unused cards carry over).
The following deity types include a POW bar:
Elemental
Greater Deity
Deity
Lesser Deity
Special cases (e.g., Apophis)
POW Functionality:
Each turn, 10 POW is automatically transferred to DEF until fully restored.
POW regenerates at a rate of 10 per turn.

These cards:
Have no ATK, DEF, or POW
Are immortal and cannot be targeted or destroyed
Do not occupy standard board space
Legendary Mechanics:
Possess unique abilities that can alter the game, only one legendary card can be active per player per match, can be activated at any time, but cannot be replaced once activated, are placed in a dedicated frontal slot.


It's highly recommended to record points as the game progresses to keep a clear record of the game's status.
Unless specified, card abilities can only be used once.
