The 1990 documentary Paris is Burning (and the subsequent TV series Pose) brought the phrase "spill the tea" from New York City's 'underground' ball culture into the mainstream.
Some peeps just spill gossip while others take the opportunity to 'keep it real' and say what must be said. To help us see past the distortions we often don't recognize.
Each card features one word that rhymes with Tea as a prompt to spill some Truth – perhaps just to yourself, about yourself. Or share with someone else, as you choose.
This began as a smaller deck shared with a small group of friends as part of an offering on Distortion. Sometimes we need help (from a friend, a deck, our inner voice) to see a truth we've not yet discovered.
