Stardust: We Have a Problem... is the new expansion for Stardust that adds four modules to give you new ways to strain your brain in space.
Faults are nasty surprises hiding in the Objective Deck for you to discover through the game. Each one is a new limitation you have to work around for the rest of the game - leaky EVA suits, fraying electronics, life support gremlins - the Stardust is an aging vessel held together with duct tape and dreams.
New Objectives add variety to the objective deck, with missions like repairing a satellite, working around planned room outages, and the choreographic nightmare of everyone having to find the time to stop by for a mandatory medical check-up. Season a standard objective deck with a few of these new tasks, or play with an entire docket of new objectives for a completely different flavour of game.
Brioche and Sequoia are two new playable characters, both of which allow the game to be played with up to five players (it is not recommended to play with six or more). Brioche is an engineer who can pick up damage cubes like parts and move them around as she breaks one system to fix another, and Sequoia is a mission commander who can instruct other players' pawns to move on her turn.
Finally, Lifelines are once-per-game cards that you can use to get out of a jam. Use them for a stress-free teaching game with new players, or rescue a difficult game from a spiralling disaster.
All four modules can be used independently of each other, or all together - the choice is yours on how you want to play.
