The different States of Nation are in conflict. Behind this turmoil, is a shadowy hand that attempts to manipulate and controls the different actors of those nations… YOUR HAND!
Fight for supremacy against your fellow shadow conspirators, as you gain influence and control of those States. But careful, for each State has its own internal strife that even you might not be aware of!
States of Supremacy is a trick-taking micro game for 2-4 players. Designed to be fast, yet cutthroat, with layers of strategy. More than just having a numerical value to trump, each card has multiple levels of usage. You could play to win the stack, or to manipulate it, or attempt to affect the final score outcome. Each hand could be a potentially winning hand… that is if other players don’t take it away from you! Control nations, dominate other players, and reign Supreme!
* Deal out cards * Place States Marker cards on the Tracker card as hidden end-game score modifier. * All players peek at one of the State Marker cards. * Start the round. First player play a card, enacting any ability or effect on it. * Follow player either play a card that can Overpower the last played card, or pass. * Cards’ abilities help manipulate and manage your hand, winning cards, and State Marker cards. * Player who passed draw a new card. * If all but one player passed, that player wins the pile. They will play a new card and start a new round. * Game continues until all the cards from deck run out. At the end of game, reveal the State Marker cards and what each color would gain/loss. * Count up the total points, and determine the winner!
>> Observe and keep track of other players. If you see them fighting hard over a color, or dislike a certain color, you could deduce that color’s possible scores.
>> There is strategy in passing. Sometime you might want to just pass, and let other player take a smaller winning, so you could build up your hand’s strength to win at a bigger pile.
>> Poison your enemy. If you know a card’s color is “negative”, you want to find a way to give to another player, even if it seems it’s at your own cost.
>> Save some card for the last. You don’t necessary need to play all of your cards.
>> Blame it on the luck. While there are lots strategies to play each hand, sometime, you still got struck by bad luck. Oh well.
