Steampunk Fairytales

Game Overview In Steampunk Fairytales, you and your allies must defeat the three Nemeses (Evil Witch, Wicked Queen, Dark Fairy) before either a) time runs out, or b) before 20 attack points worth of Free-Range Monsters are in the forest.

Each turn, you must decide to either attack the dark minions in the deep forest, or plan to attack one of the nemeses beyond. You will also need to decide whether or not to rest up at Grandma's House regaining health and resources, or just pick up a weapon and venture out to face your adversaries.

Cards are used to help yourself or your allies in battle. Some restore health, some boost your battle performance, but most are your battle cards which is the basis of your attack. Your weapons require special combinations to fire as well, so take careful stock of your battle cards and the weapons available to you.

Every player turn, new monsters appear in the deep forest presenting ever-increasing danger. Additionally, every turn, each player must draw from the time deck. As time passes, the Nemeses will grow more and more powerful. Players must balance making sure the Deep Forest is not overrun with monsters, all the while finding opportune moments to launch an attack against the Nemeses.
