The Swarm Wars trading card game is a unique 2 player game utilising decks of 30+ cards to defeat your opponent and their troublesome bug infrantry!

The Warring Wasps starter deck is armed with immediate aerial superiority over their fellow insects providing a powerful edge over your foe. This provides the wasps their winning stratergy: win by collecting large amounts of resources and using overwhelming force to defeat all who stand in your way.

Start strong with "flying" German Wasps for early damage to opponent hive, then use boatmen, widows and mantids to draw attention while your blowflies draw for the game ending Tarantula.

This starter deck includes everything you need to secure victory and hours of fun!

How to play:

the setup phase:

• players set up play space as shown in image below
• After shuffling their decks players draw 5 cards from the main and one card from the side deck (total of 6 cards)

draw phase:

• On the first turn no cards are drawn
• Otherwise players can draw 1 card from either the side or the main deck every draw phase
• Players can hold up to 10 cards in their hand
• In this phase status effects, and resource counters are checked to make sure they are in working order

play phase:

• In this phase cards can be played in your play zones once their costs are met
• cards are placed by both sides on their respective sides
• Sigils activate on placement
• Cards played can be sacrificed for a debris (a type of resource)

battle phase:

• All cards active that can attack will deal damage equal to attack power to card opposite, or if there is none the enemy hive
• The hives are not affected by status effects
• On card death the creature is placed in the graveyard

And then it repeats until a hive is destroyed and a winner declared!
