Propelled by the rapid expansion of militarized cybernetics, crime has increased exponentially and crime syndicates have become more prevalent than ever. In this near-future competitive Legacy game, each player is the boss of a syndicate. Play cards, battle the environment and complete objectives in grid based combat. Recruit, equip and train your syndicate to rise to the top in the ever changing battle environment.

Theme

The game takes place in the year 2078. A future where cybernetics and bionics have become militarised and governments and authorities are losing control to crime. The futuristic theme to Syndicates: 2078 takes some inspiration from the famous cyberpunk style; a future soaked with bright neons, desolate wastelands, corruption and danger.

Gameplay

In Syndicates: 2078 players each take control of a crime syndicate. Each one of these syndicates is separate from the next. Players will play over a series of games in an overarching campaign. During the journey, players will be able to unlock new abilities and skills, purchase new weapons and items and even recruit more members to their syndicates. This is done by completing missions and earning experience in a brutal environment with the other players in competitive grid-based combat.
